INTRODUCTION

Welcome to the Sunset Area Victim Crisis and Assistance Referral Service Training Program.  You have made it to the third step of becoming a crisis volunteer.
VCARS  volunteer online crisis training program offers victims service volunteers the opportunity to acquire the basic skills and knowledge they need to better assist victims of crime and tragic circumstances.  You will have two weeks to complete the online courses and upon completion of this 22 hour training program you will be required to finish in house training, 8 hours and take the final exam to become a certified crisis volunteer.

Using these e-learning tools will make your Sunset Area VCARS experience both positvie and rewarding. 

Categories will contain courses, powerpoints and videos, you will be required to complete a quiz at the end of each session.
